Magny celebrates the fundamentals of fine dining, with a set menu served around a 16- seat counter.
Named after restaurateur Jonas Mikkelsen’s grandmother, who always cooked from scratch, we present a dining experience that bridges the gap between craft and service.
The space is designed around a kitchen with a 16-seat counter in rich red elm, allowing guests to follow the kitchen up close. For groups of up to 8 people, there’s a separate private table.
Meet the Founders
The restaurant is spearheaded by head chef and restaurateur Jonas Mikkelsen. Classically trained, Mikkelsen’s interest lies in sourcing simple ingredients and expertly plating them together. He spent 16 years as a headchef at Hotel Frederiksminde, which was awarded a Michelin Star in 2016. Fellow alumnus Rasmus Mørch serves as restaurant manager and partner. With each visit, the duo intends to deliver a memorable dining experience that’s distinctly Magny.
